Mission and Milestones
Sequella intends to commercialize improved treatment paradigms for infectious
diseases of epidemic potential. The company initiated its business model with tuberculosis (TB), a disease designated by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be a global health crisis. Although TB has a devastating profile that makes it an important first target of Sequella, U.S. citizens are exposed to a number of lethal viral, bacterial, and fungal agents. Based on the company’s versatile discovery approach and technology platforms, Sequella is also identifying and developing drug candidates for SARS, candidiasis, ulcers (Helicobacter pylori), and other diseases with known or potential infectious etiology (Crohn’s disease).
Effectively addressing the global TB epidemic with new and improved diagnostics and drugs will serve as proof-of-principle for Sequella platform technologies and treatment paradigms -- creating a business and drug development strategy for application to other infectious disease areas.
Every day we strive to find the right balance between compassion and competitiveness, short and long term value, commitment to self and to society.

Sequella proprietary technologies address unmet needs of the global health marketplace. Similar to blockbuster therapeutics Gleevec and Herceptin, Sequella engineers diagnostics to detect the type and presence of disease, as well as new drugs that can be efficiently and effectively administered based on more accurate diagnosis. As its targeted indications affect worldwide populations, Sequella will work closely with global healthcare agencies for introduction of its products into all markets.
